Erin Black | 2020 Keep Florida Beautiful Board of Directors

Erin M. Black - Chair

VP Sustainability and Risk Management, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida
Erin Black is the Vice President of Sustainability and Risk Management for Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, based in Tampa. In this role, Erin leads the company’s strategy and execution of environmental, health, safety, and loss prevention with proven enterprise-wide strategy creation. She is a graduate of Keene State College with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Safety and Business Management. She also holds a Masters degree from Drake University in Adult Learning, Development, and Performance. As a native Floridian, Erin is excited to serve on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board where she can focus on continuing her passion to create an environmentally literate society that understands why environmental stewardship is critical now and for the generations to come.

Jerrie Lindsey - 2nd Vice Chair

Director, Public Access & Wildlife Viewing Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
Jerrie is Director of Public Access Services at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in Tallahassee, Florida. She helps provide opportunities for Floridians and visitors to view wildlife and experience the rugged expanses of Florida’s wildlife management area system. Jerrie enjoys serving on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board because of the opportunity to enhance the beauty and environment of Florida’s communities working with such dedicated board members, affiliates and volunteers.

Dwaine Stevens - Secretary/Treasurer

Media and Community Relations Manager, Publix Super Markets
Dwaine serves as the Media and Community Relations Manager for Publix Super Markets based in Jacksonville, FL. As a Spokesperson, Dwaine is committed to cultivating relationships in the communities that Publix serves. He recognizes Keep Florida Beautiful as powerful brand that is working collectively to raise awareness on sustainable practices with over 40 affiliates throughout the state. Publix Super Markets is known for its sustainable practices and for being responsible citizens in the communities they operate in. Dwaine serves on the Keep Florida Beautiful board because he believes that in working together, we will continue to develop synergies and responsible practices that will benefit local communities and our beautiful state.

Liz DeWitt - Past Chair

Executive Director, Florida Beverage Association
Liz is the Executive Director of the Florida Beverage Association and is located in St. Augustine, Florida where she oversees public policy initiatives and works with local and state governments on issues impacting the Beverage Industry. She is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and a Master’s of Business Administration. Liz and her family enjoy living an active lifestyle in the great outdoors. Being a member of the Keep Florida Beautiful Board helps ensure that the beauty of Florida will be enjoyed by her family for generations to come.

Steve Lezman

Senior Director, Government Affairs, PepsiCo
Steve is the Senior Director of Governmental Affairs for PepsiCo based in Bradenton, Florida. In his role, he represents all the PepsiCo brands including Tropicana, Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Quaker and Gatorade, in 11 states in the Southeast and Midwest. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Steve serves on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board to support the effort of thousands of volunteers throughout the State that work to pick up litter, increase recycling and beautify our communities.

President, Public Affairs Consultants, Inc.
Keyna is President of Public Affairs Consultants, Inc. in Tallahassee, Florida where she works with a variety of legislative clients in the following areas: solid waste, environmental issues, transportation issues, telecommunications, agriculture, water and general business issues. Keyna serves on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board because she believes our economy depends on Florida being a clean, vibrant state and that Keep Florida Beautiful plays a big part in keeping litter off our roads & beaches and supporting communities in their beautification efforts.

Kevin McGeever

Senior Editor - Marketing/Brand, VISIT FLORIDA
Kevin is the senior editor (content director) for VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official tourism marketing organization. In 2011, VISIT FLORIDA hired Kevin to build a Florida network of journalists to write, film and photograph stories about Florida travel destinations and experiences, and distribute that journalism on as many platforms as possible. A graduate of the University of Scranton and Syracuse University, Kevin is a Philadelphia native and remains hopelessly connected to the city’s sports teams. Kevin serves on the Keep Florida Beautiful board because he treasures our natural resources; believes in development as long as it mandates the preservation of — even better, creation of — public green space; stands for preserving the integrity of our public lands as a legacy to future generations.
David Dee | 2020 Keep Florida Beautiful Board of Directors

David Dee

Attorney and Shareholder, Gardner, Bist, Bowden, Bush, Dee, LaVia and Wright, PA
David is an attorney and shareholder in the firm of Gardner, Bist, Bowden, Bush, Dee La Via and Wright, P.A. in Tallahassee, Florida. He practices in the areas of environmental and administrative law with a special expertise in solid waste management facilities and programs. He is a graduate of Emory University and the Florida State University College of Law. A former volunteer in the Peace Corps (Nepal and Ethiopia), David serves on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board because it enables him to combine his desire to work on community projects with his experience in environmental issues

Director of Communications & Government Relations, Waste Management Inc. of Florida
Amy is the Community Affairs Manager for Waste Management Inc. of Florida. Based in Melbourne, she is responsible for external and internal communications and community relations for Waste Management throughout central and north Florida. Waste Management is the leading provider of comprehensive waste management environmental services in North American and is committed to always working for a sustainable tomorrow. Amy is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. As a native Floridian, supporting Florida’s beautification efforts is personally important to her.

Factory Manager, Zephyrhills Springs Bottling Facility High Springs
Laine is the current factory manager for the Zephyrhills Springs bottling facility in High Springs, FL. She is responsible for the oversight of all operations at the facility as well as maintaining a positive relationship within the local community. Laine is a native Floridian and graduate of the Florida State University. She and her husband also have an agriculture business that supports local farmers through their farm in Live Oak, FL, which has been in her family for 6 generations. In her free time, Laine enjoys time spent with her husband and their 3 kids on the Suwannee and Ichetucknee rivers as well as fishing on the Gulf of Mexico (when they are biting). Laine is passionate about keeping Florida beautiful for her kids and grandkids to come, and she is eager to make a difference statewide through the KFB Board.

Patricia DePlasco

Chair, Keep Florida Beautiful Affiliate Council
Patricia DePlasco serves as the Chair of the Keep Florida Beautiful Affiliate Council. In addition, she is the Executive Director of Keep Pinellas Beautiful. Pat’s experience includes a 25-year tenure as a classrom Teacher, Keep America Beautiful Affiliate – Environmental and Education Program Cooridinator, Community Liaison and Development Director. Today, she is responsible for building and maintaining a team of qualified, environmentally passionate staff to carry out her organization’s mission to conserve and beautify our natural environment by means of community engagement and education. Pat believes that “Together, we will keep Pinellas (America) beautiful” and is a proponent of collaboration for sustainable change. Her commitment to collaboration is what motivates her to serve on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board.

Bryan Bobbitt

Affiliate Representative, Keep Brevard Beautiful
Bryan Bobbitt is a Brevard County native and retired U.S. Army Military Police Officer. Bryan has experience in the hospitality industry and is also the original founder of the fishing magazine “Shallow Addiction”. In 2014 he began his career with Keep Brevard Beautiful as the Event and Volunteer Coordinator and has since moved his way up to Executive Director of the organization. Bryan is married to his wife Lisa and they have an 8 year old son named Landen. In their down time, Bryan and his family enjoy fishing, camping and golfing.

Solanch Lopez

Affiliate Representative, Keep Coral Gables Beautiful
Solanch is the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Coral Gables and Co-Executive Director of Keep Coral Gables Beautiful (KCGB). In her role with KCGB, Solanch works to engage with and educate the community to carry out the mission of KCGB. She holds a Master of Science in Marketing from Florida International University. Serving on the Board of Keep Florida Beautiful is the latest of Solanch’s efforts to serve her community by helping to provide ideas and support that can benefit Coral Gables as well other communities throughout the state.

Tammie Nason

Affiliate Representative, Keep Wakulla County Beautiful
Tammie Nason serves as the Executive Director for Wakulla County Beautiful – a nonprofit affiliate in one of the more rural parts of the state. Although Tammie has a 25+ year background in the medical field, her passion lies with preserving nature which ultimately brought her to this position. She also serves on the KFB Affiliate Council. Tammie is a mother, grandmother and wife. In her down time, she enjoys boating, fishing and “playing in the dirt”.

Executive Director, Keep Florida Beautiful
Savanna serves as the Executive Director of Keep Florida Beautiful and is based in Tallahassee, Florida. She handles day-to-day operations of Keep Florida Beautiful while working with over 40 statewide affiliates to carry out the mission of Keep Florida Beautiful. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Master’s degree in Aquatic Environmental Science. Savanna enjoys serving on the Keep Florida Beautiful Board because of the opportunity it brings to connect Floridians with important environmental issues.
