Florida Celebrates Earth Day

Each year on April 22, Earth Day is celebrated all around the world. In more than 192 countries, more than a billion people gather each year to celebrate, take action, and demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day is the largest celebrated secular holiday observed around the world, focusing on environmental change and growth.

From our parks, to beaches, to animals, Florida has so much to offer. With so many natural resources in Florida, it is important to work to keep our state beautiful so we can enjoy it for many years to come! Join the billions of people world wide by getting involved this Earth Day and working to make a difference for Florida, America, and the Earth.

Keep Florida Beautiful is dedicated to engaging and educating citizens, visitors and communities on how to improve Florida through litter prevention, increased recycling and beautification efforts. We have over 40 affiliates throughout the state that pull together over 300,000 volunteers annually to conduct programs such as the Great American Cleanup, Coastal Cleanups and countless education programs.
