Reuse it!

Reuse folders, boxes, and paper. Use coffee mugs, rather than disposable cups. Get a water bottle, and start reusing it. Cutting back on the amount of waste your office produces not only helps the environment but can save you money!

Save Energy!

Saving power is an easy way to go green at the office! Put your computer on energy saving mode and make sure to shut it all the way off at night, not just “standby” or “sleep” which still uses power. Unplug printers, scanners, and other electronics that aren’t frequently used. Turn off lights when spaces aren’t occupied.

Getting managerial support and a lot of office involvement can make your green program both fun and effective! These simple little changes can make a huge different in the amount of waste your office produces! Going green in the office is a great way to do your part in keeping Florida beautiful!
